On a sunny day on the 15th October, villagers came together to help tidy up main areas of the village. Over 300 bulbs were planted at Dunmore Pond - we eagerly await the results in the Spring. The nettles in the Old Churchyard were cut back, the children's playground bark areas were topped up and the hedges cut back. The War Memorial and Churchyard were also given a full tidy up and clean. The workers were all rewarded with bacon butties and a beer.
A big thank you to all that took part, it is great we can all take pride in the village we live in. Brightwalton Parish Council
