We pride ourselves with having a wonderful community spirit. We love to get together for various activities, events, socials and sports throughout the year. Runs every Tuesday night in the village hall from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. They set out c.16 exercise stations and rotate around them in quick succession. It is great for strength, conditioning and overall fitness, and you are free to work at your own pace and set your own goals. Fees are £2 per session.
Brightwalton has had an established cricket team for many years and is based at the village hall, enjoying friendly Sunday afternoon matches during the summer. The club needs new members and is looking for your help to build the team to its former glory. Downland Gardening Club
The Club is a very friendly and informal group, usually meeting on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7.30. with time for a raffle, chat, coffee and biscuits. Past programmes have included talks on bats, country crafts and canal boat painting as well as many varied gardening topics from experienced speakers. There are garden visits and both Winter and Summer Socials. Even if you have no garden or are unable to garden there is so much to enjoy.

Local Hosts volunteer to host a Pop Up Drinks event every two months in the village. There is always a good turnout and wonderful atmosphere.
