Village Hall Bookings Clerk

Brightwalton Village Hall committee are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to join the team and take on the Bookings Clerk role at the Village Hall, ideally it should be someone who lives in the village.
The role will involve:

• Taking booking enquiries by phone and email.
• Managing the hall diary, with bookings, regular users and scheduled maintenance.
• Coordinating with treasurer to ensure booking payments are made on time.
• Regular checking of the hall to ensure everything is in working order.
• Arranging completion of booking contracts and taking of deposits.
• Conducting viewings as required for parties interested in booking.
• Handing out keys / opening and closing as appropriate to the hirer.
• Checking hall after users and returning deposit as appropriate.
• Coordinating with the regular users and addressing any issues they have.
• Attendance of committee meetings (3 times a year?) and regular reporting to committee reference bookings

The role would be ideal for someone who has a keen interested in the village and would like to meet others.
