Brightwalton is served by 2 buses - Services 5 and 5A. Service 5 Uses a single-deck bus operated by Kennections, part of Reading Transport Ltd. This early morning and late afternoon journey will only operate on School and College weekdays. Service 5A Is a middle-of-day journey on Mondays through Fridays, operated by a West Berkshire Council minibus.
The Bus stop is at the Village Hall, a new sign should appear in October.

Brightwalton is six miles south of Wantage (Oxon) and 12 miles north of Newbury. It lies six miles north of the M4 and is equi-distant between exits 13 and 14.
Newbury is the nearest Railway Station the address is: Station Approach, Newbury, West Berkshire, RG14 5DG. The station is operated by Great Western Railway.
